The ring piece is SOLID STEEL with a fast 1 and a half turn style connection but made specifically to simplify the cleaning of your firearm. Available in the most popular 1/2 X 28 thread size and pitch (5/8 coming soon) and is recommended for those larger cleaning jobs like the .380, 9mm and the ever popular 223/556 as well as similar sized caliber barrels.
